A short history of Domusculta
Domusculta was created in 2001 by the actual partners, Andrea del Gallo di Roccagiovine, Roberto Perino and Stefano Dorizzi, to develop the ‘Borgo di Tragliata’ agro tourism project.
The development of the project needed the remodelling of an old medieval village which was entrusted to Andrea Del Gallo, while the operational management and quality control of the agro tourism complex was given to Roberto Perino, and finally the commercial development and the actual administration to Stefano Dorizzi.
The year 2001 saw the beginning of the agro tourism activity with a restaurant room and three apartments, for a total of 12 people sleeping facility.
The project was almost fully completed by 2004 with a receptive capacity for up to 95 people, as well as a congress centre, provided with meeting and conferences halls, and food facility for a maximum capacity of 600 persons.
The project was so successful that Domusculta looked for another building to further develop the complex, especially the banquet end of the business. To this end, at the beginning of 2005, it incorporated the management of ‘Villa della Falcognana.
The villa has a lot of historic and artistic charm, and since it is located in the proximity of the city it is the ideal place to hold wedding receptions, as well as business meetings and commercial presentations.
At the beginning of 2006, and as a result of the great success of the venture, Domusculta incorporated ‘Casale di Sant’Andrea’.
This country villa, just a few kilometres from Borgo di Tragliata, is located on a very panoramic hill and offers a rustic and simple ambiance ideal forwedding banquets, parties, business meetings and conventions or for your vacation near Rome in a farmhouse where you can discover contact with nature.
